This was a couple living from a larger traditional home in a western suburb of Boston to a condo in Newton. The condo was being sold by its first (original) owners and had paid perfect homage to the “1980s design aesthetic.” The new owners wanted to explore a more modern design with a cooler palette. The couple elected to commit their new design style by bringing almost nothing from their previous home, giving us the freedom to design from a clean slate.
